REFLECTION:

It was my first time in Fall2010 to be a TA. That’s why my responsibility was mainly grading homework assignments and quizzes. From Fall2011, I started leading the recitation classes. In recitation classes, I was trying to teach the students how to solve Statics problems in Archimides in computer lab. It was challenging, because I had to teach them how to use the software as well as covering the concepts in Statics. Getting experience of the previous year, I was teaching much better in Fall2012. In addition to recitation classes, I had very effective office hours. The number of students increased all of a sudden in Fall2013. That’s why I was working with a couple of undergraduate TAs helping me running the recitation classes. It was a good experience working with undergraduate TAs, because they passed the course before and they knew better how the students were dealing with homework or quiz problems. My main job was leading other TAs. I also got the chance of having lectures in class.
